About Live recording;

In todays climate, with YOUTUBE, MYSPACE, Personal websites etc recordings are a MUST. How professional does it look on bands web pages with extremely poor quality sound recordings when used with hand held phones and video cameras. It doesn't sound good, does it?

At The Fiddlers Elbow bands can change all that!

In this case, the Fiddler's Elbow is very proud to introduce you its new multitrack recording service AT AN AFFORDABLE COST!

Recording live events presents many challenges.
A pair of microphones with a portastudio or a minidisc feeding the desk are usually the only options available for musicians.
A lot of problems arise with these kinds of recordings :

- A pair of microphones in the audience will capture a large amount of reverb mixed with the noise of the venue (people talking for instance).

- A minidisk at the desk will capture a mix made for the audience. In small venues some instruments are not miked due to their intensity. Sometimes just the vocals are used by the sound engineer.

In order to obtain a recording where each instrument is clearly defined and gives a sense of the space in which the music was played, close miking and ambient miking have to be combined.

At the Fiddler's Elbow an experienced sound engineer is available to record your songs by taking into account all these parameters.

So, don't miss the opportunity of promoting your band through a professional recording service.
